NACCS was tight, although the turn-out seemed a little sparse. I presented a paper addressing Chicana/o + Métis anticolonial struggles and the role that art plays within these movements. Estrella and I ate some delicious vegan delicacies and enjoyed our time away from Reina and Mexica Tiahui. Austin is a cool city. Plus there were more Raza than I had expected.

The weather was gorgeous and rwe an along the river (they call it a lake) everyday. My first trip back to Aztlán made me miss the weather and people.
