Some of the best + brightest Native literary scholars were in EL this past weekend. Daniel Heath Justice, Brenda Child, Debbie Reese, Charlene Bearskin, Bill Penn, Ellen Cushman, Jim Northrup, Helen Roy, LaVonne Ruoff, Eric Gansworth, LeAnne Howe, Pun Plamondon (White Panthers represent!!), Daryl Baldwin, David Treuer, Scott Lyons, Janet Marie Rogers, Dylan Miner (yeah that's me), Anton Treuer, Asani (Cree-Métis signers from the prairies(, Angela Haas, Malea Powell, and Qwo-Li Driskill.

Snap! That is one fresh lineup. Each intellectual ran a 90-minute seminar. Mine covered the theorizing of Indigenous art as a manifestation of anticolonial resistance.
